DeGree Royal is currently looking for 2 part-time Property Support Associates and 1 part-time Property Maintenance Associate.

Property Support Associate

Property Support Associates are primarily responsible for cleaning and staging our properties (short term rentals and some commercial properties) and helping ensure properties look amazing inside and out. We're looking for reliable, responsible teammates with positive attitudes and flexible schedules. We're hiring 2 positions, so teams of 2 are welcome to apply together (each person should fill out an application).

About this Position

  • Part-time, averaging 20-25 hours/week, mostly days & weekends.

  • Involves travel between properties in Dubuque & Galena area

  • Pay ranges from $20-$25/hour depending on relevant experience.

  • Matching retirement benefits (up to 3% of pay)

  • Employees Accrue Paid Time Off

Primary Responsibilities
Property Support Associate primary responsibilities include cleaning and staging properties in order to create amazing guest experiences. This includes:

  • Cleaning guest accommodations between stays

  • Resetting beds & laundering linens

  • Restocking consumables within properties (coffee, soap, etc)

  • Removing & disposing of trash

  • Other property cleaning/staging tasks as assigned

Additional Responsibilities
Property Support Associates may also have the opportunity to take on additional tasks within the company, depending on employee ability and experience. These may include:

  • Weeding plant beds

  • Planting/tending vegetable gardens

  • Mowing, trimming, & snow removal

  • Exterior cleaning (windows, decks, outdoor furnishings)

  • Misc light maintenance and repair tasks

  • Pool and/or hot tub management

  • Delivering guest food orders or shopping groceries

  • Assisting with issues that arise during guest stays

Successful candidates will be at least 21 years old and have relevant experience and/or a demonstrated ability to learn new cleaning & property maintenance skills. A valid drivers license is preferred but not required.
 
Job responsibilities involve a wide range of physical motions and candidates must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.

Property Maintenance Associate

Property Maintenance Associates are primarily responsible for managing pristine grounds and the exterior appearance of our properties (short term rentals and some commercial properties). In addition, property maintenance associates help with odd jobs and interior/exterior property improvement projects throughout the year, depending on skill set. We're looking for reliable, responsible teammates with positive attitudes and flexible schedules.

About this Position

  • Part-time, averaging 20-25 hours/week, mostly days & weekends.

  • Involves travel between properties in Dubuque & Galena area.

  • Pay ranges from $20-$25/hour depending on relevant experience.

  • Matching retirement benefits (up to 3% of pay)

  • Employees Accrue Paid Time Off

Primary Responsibilities
Property Maintenance Associate primary responsibilities include groundskeeping, light facility maintenance, and miscellaneous property improvement projects. This includes:

  • Mowing & trimming lawns

  • Snow removal and salting

  • Seasonal groundskeeping and weatherization

  • Executing property maintenance schedules (furnace filters, etc)

  • Light property maintenance (painting, repairs, etc)

  • Other property maintenance tasks as assigned

Additional Responsibilities
Property Maintenance Associates may also have the opportunity to take on additional tasks within the company, depending on employee ability and experience. These may include:​

  • Participating in construction projects for new property amenities

  • Gardening (flower & vegetable beds)

  • Pool and/or hot tub management

  • Cleaning/staging properties for guests

  • Delivering guest food orders or shopping groceries

  • Assisting with issues that arise during guest stays

​
Successful candidates will be at least 21 years old and have relevant experience and/or a demonstrated ability to learn new property maintenance skills. A valid drivers license and no major driving infractions required.
 
Job responsibilities involve a wide range of physical motions and candidates must be able to lift at least 60 lbs, climb ladders, and operate a push mower or snow blower.
